As we all know, Hot Tubs are absolutely amazing. From Summer to Winter, they're a great asset.
But when is it time to upgrade to a new one, how do you "out with the old"?
As much as its eye-rolling to say.
It depends.
Almost every Junk Removal Company can remove Hot Tubs. But not all of them can do it safely.
Lets look into the proper way of handling it.
Location, Is it in a backyard with a small pedestrian gate?
Or is the Hot Tub enclosed a custom enclosure?
Firstly we look at direct passage to the street, if there is a gate big enough to drive a car through and there is no enclosure for the hot tub. This would be as simple as unplugging, draining, and setting it on hand dollies and rolling it out.

If there is only a small pedestrian gate, we're looking to cut it up, depending on the size, sometimes into 6 pieces.
Now a custom enclosure? That goes first of course, then draining, then disconnecting any wires, and finally cutting it up and walking it out.
For any DIY'er removing a hot tub is VERY doable. However not often are people so inclined to do so, so they'll reach out to a local Junk Removal Company to handle it for them.
Now, why should you remove your old one?
Well of course, if its old its probably not working as it use to, or it just doesn't get any use anymore. Any reason is a valid reason, Hot Tubs are great, but they can be costly, and sometimes not so pleasant to look at.
